Welcome to The Songbook Academy
Congratulations and welcome to The Songbook Academy family! This year, 40 singers were selected from an applicant pool representing talent from 20 states across the country to participate in The Songbook Academy 2025. In the coming weeks, there will be a public announcement to present this year’s class of singers.
In the meantime, here is everything you need to know as you start preparing for your Songbook experience! This page is only intended for students and parent/guardians of The Songbook Academy 2025 to use as a go-to resource for important program updates, arrival and departure details, packing lists and FAQs regarding the The Songbook Academy 2025. We will continually update this page, so please check back for new additions!

General Program Details
What are the dates of The Songbook Academy 2025?
The Songbook Academy 2025 will take place from Saturday, July 12 through Sunday, July 20. Check-in will take place from 1-3 p.m. ET on Saturday, July 12. Check-out will take place from 9-11 a.m. ET on Sunday, July 20.
Where does The Songbook Academy take place?
Program activities (including Songbook Academy in Concert and other public events) will take place on the campus of Allied Solutions Center for the Performing Arts in Carmel, Indiana, the official headquarters of the Great American Songbook Foundation. Our campus is located 30 minutes from downtown Indianapolis and from the Indianapolis International Airport. By car, we are located approximately three hours from Chicago and two hours from Cincinnati.
During the program, students are housed at Fairview House residence hall at Butler University (just a 20-25 minute bus ride from the Center's campus).
Registration
Registration for the Songbook Academy is completed via the GetAcceptd platform, similar to our application process. You now have access to our acceptance form, which will allow you to confirm your participation. To access all stages, log-in to GetAcceptd and click the yellow “Continue” button next to your Songbook application.
Registration deadlines:
- Acceptance Form (Confirming Participation) - Due by Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at 11:59 pm ET*
- Required Documents (Biographical, Medical, etc.) - Due by Wednesday, May 14, 2025 at 11:59 pm ET
- Participant Information (Travel and Repertoire) - Due by Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at 11:59 pm ET
*Alternate notifications will be sent on Thursday, April 24, 2025 - so please do not delay accepting your spot!
