Part of a larger digital conference on Rethinking the Golden Age Musical, in which Broadway performers, authors, academics and archivists will celebrate the most treasured period in Broadway history–but take a critical approach to its troubled past, this panel discussion will feature Broadway actresses Shereen Ahmed, Victoria Clark, Melissa Errico, Ali Ewoldt, and Judy Kuhn in discussion about gender issues as seen in this beloved repertoire. Learn more about the panelists. The starting point for this panel is chair Melissa Errico's 2018 New York Times article available here.
