Our Nonprofit Family: Music Museums and More
August 17, 2020
Did you know that August 17 is National Nonprofit Day?
National Nonprofit Day recognizes the enormous impact that nonprofits have on their local communities and across the globe. The Great American Songbook Foundation is proud to be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, because of the exciting work that we get to do every day to inspire and educate by celebrating timeless American popular music.
But we aren’t the only ones! We are a part of a larger community of music museums, performing arts centers and cultural organizations that are ALL doing great work to not only celebrate important musical repertoire, but educate and provide sources of engagement for every generation through music and the Arts.
Especially during a time like this, these nonprofit Arts organizations are vital to providing opportunities for hope, continued creativity and social engagement. We’ve done some research and pulled together some exciting virtual offerings of our Grammy Museum cultural affiliates and music-based Nonprofits from Carmel, Indiana and beyond. Take a moment to meet our friends in the nonprofit world and bookmark some of these amazing opportunities for you and yours to keep the music playing at home in honor of #NationalNonprofitDay.
Thank you to all of our nonprofit friends
for leading the way!
